Costumes, Candy, and a Cause Along Nashville Street
Grab your costume and your candy bucket, because Halloween night is happening on Nashville Street. Mission 22 is lining downtown Ringgold with decorated trunks full of treats, while local shops open their doors to trick or treaters making their way through the historic district.
Families are invited to stroll from trunk to trunk and store to store, collecting candy, admiring costumes, and soaking up Halloween in a walkable, welcoming downtown. There’s no cost for families to come out and trick or treat.
Every trunk helps support a bigger mission. All proceeds from trunk registrations, along with any donations collected, go directly to Mission 22, a nonprofit that supports Veterans and their families through no-cost recovery and resiliency programs. Setting up a trunk costs just $5, so gather your family, friends, church group, or business, pick a theme, and help make Halloween in Ringgold a little sweeter for a great cause.
This event is host by Mission 22 and sponsored by Mountain View Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.
Making a day of it? Start your morning at the Rabbit Valley Farmers Market, where the final market day of the regular season doubles as a Family Fall Festival from 9 AM to 3 PM. Once the candy buckets are full, keep the Halloween spirit going with The Ringgold Playhouse’s “An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe” at 7:30 PM, or head over to the Ringgold Haunted Depot, open from 7 to 11 PM.
