Sarah Ruhl reimagines the ancient myth of Orpheus through the eyes of its heroine in Eurydice, The Ringgold Playhouse’s latest mainstage production, directed by Jessica Wagner.
Dying too young on her wedding day, Eurydice journeys to the underworld, where she reunites with her father and struggles to hold on to the memory of her lost love. Blending contemporary characters, inventive plot twists, and striking visual effects, the play offers a fresh take on a timeless love story.
The production brings together familiar Playhouse veterans alongside newcomers taking the stage for the first time.
