We had a first floor room, Room 120. The walls were paper thin and we could hear people in the next room just talking to each other. It got really warm in there both nights and we had to turn on the AC, even though nighttime temps were in the 40s. The room and the bathroom were very spacious for us. The only thing I would add in the bathroom would be towel hooks as there were none in ours. There was a leak in the ceiling above our toilet that dripped any time the room above us used water. I informed thee front desk of this issue upon checking out. The lobby and hallways were also very spacious and clean. They were doing some remodeling work in our hallway, so I would have to see the finished product before commenting. The front desk staff and maid service were very attentive and efficient. The biggest letdown by far was the breakfast which is what we were looking forward to to get our day started. If we're in this area again we would stay here again, just not on the first floor. Thank you, staff!

Hotel was under renovation (believe me it needed it), but that was not disclosed on the website, which is something that is normally done. Not exceedingly clean, bedding old and worn. Only one(1) waste paper basket in the entire room! Went to get coffee in the lobby and I found the canister sitting in the middle of the floor and no one around. Coffee maker in the room, disgusting…. All of the hotel common areas had an unpleasant odor. Only one trash can in the entire exterior. Property did not email bill overnight like most Hilton properties, so checkout had a line and was slow. We stay at Hampton Inn’s frequently. This is by far the worst and not a good value.

We always stay within the Hilton chain for a reason. This is the worst stay. We stayed in room 120, it wasn’t even swept, the furniture and paint on walls are falling apart, discolored walls and furniture. The trims on the walls are missing. The pool wasn’t opened and it wasn’t disclosed even tho I went straight to their website to make a reservation. Having small children this is something my kids look forward too. I get it if they are remodeling but they should have published it on their website to have people decide if they want to stay or not. It’s better to be upfront.

The room was not clean by no means! The floor was so dirty it was greasy! The carpet was yuck and shower yuck! The service was pretty good, and food choices were good! They are going through what looks like renovations, so I'm hoping it all improves. I normally stay at Hilton Hotels, and everything is perfect.

Clean, nice rooms and excellent service (Dave is a very hard working young gentleman). A HUGE shout out to Jeremy who went above and beyond to repair the hot tub for us after our long trip through GA, especially Atlanta traffic. Thanks for a relaxing and restful stay.

The rooms are fairly new, and everything is in working order. They offer free coffee and tea 24/7, free breakfast. They have a mini laundromat and nice indoor pool and fitness center. We always stay overnight on our 1,500+ mile journey because it's clean and dog friendly for a fee.

I cannot say enough great things about this hotel. We stayed five days and enjoyed ever minute of it. Staff was great and made sure all of our needs were meet. Breakfast was good and the coffee was always hot and fresh. We had a handicap room that was large enough that my husband's wheelchair could be movered all over including the bathroom. We will definitely be staying here again

Low rating for "check the box" hotel amenities. Yes, it is newer and clean, yet the water doesn't get hot. So don't stop here after a long day of driving and expect a hot shower, tepid at best. Yes, they have complimentary toiletries, yet their location and dispense style are "innovative." Why make a device that can be used with one hand when we can buy one that takes two hands for less? Yes, they have breakfast. If you're short on fast acting carbs, this is your place. The two hot items were steamed sausage patties and these previously frozen cheese omelets. Tru will reply with an apology and a link, but my time spent on this place is now complete. Save your time. I'll be saving mine.

For a Hilton, the room wasn't clean. I let the front desk know, and they offered to change my room, but I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned it myself. There was a roach crawling across the floor, which we killed. I sent pictures to the general manager, and the front desk called to say they were giving me 5,000 reward points. Gee, thanks.

Time: Summer 2024. Situation: 1 overnight, 1 traveler on long road trip. Overall, an excellent overnight hotel and would stay here again. While on a long road trip, found this place between Chattanooga and Atlanta to overnight. Check in was super fast and the clerk was friendly. I found that most TRU hotels are identical, with a lots of seating in the lobby area and a pool table. The gym was small but clean and had the basics, nothing missing. The room was very clean, and I appreciate the better quality toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion), the kind that works and doesn’t burn your skin. On check out, the housekeeper checked my room right away, found my electric toothbrush, and the front desk called my cell while I was still in the parking lot. When traveling this highway, I typically stay in Dalton or Ringgold because they are 33% cheaper than hotels to the north toward Chattanooga or south toward Atlanta. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is clean, stylish, and reasonably priced. I also appreciated that they use Dove products for the bathroom, which is a nice touch. However, there are some drawbacks. The room lacked basic amenities like cups and coffee, so I had to go back to my car for a cup. Additionally, there were no closets in the room, which was inconvenient. The breakfast area had high tables with charging stations, which were not kid-friendly, and the few lower tables available ran out quickly. Overall, it’s a very nice and comfortable hotel, but it feels like a beautifully wrapped gift with limited practicality

Clean, Modern lodging. The desk is occupied 24/7. The coffee is made while you wait. It is just me but, the breakfast is like eating at a gas station. Pre- made sandwiches, instant oatmeal, various breads and fruit. Also, there is no carpet in the room. Just a textured tile. Great deal and good location

I stay here whenever I’m in town for business. The staff is so helpful and accommodating if there’s anything wrong. The rooms are always spotless and the beds are very comfortable. The gym is small but affective. The breakfast is grab and go but they have hot breakfast sandwiches and omelettes as well as other essentials. They are also cleaning the lobby regularly so you know it’s nice and clean. You also can’t beat the location. One night my team and I were up late in the lobby working and they brought us snacks and water which was so nice!

First time staying in an Avid hotel and I liked it very much. Rooms are small but have a great layout, clean and comfortable. The only problem was that there was not hot water in the shower, I hope this is a one time problem because I definitely consider using this hotel brand when needed. We only spent one night since we needed to rest during a road trip but I can see myself staying at an avid hotel in a business trip too.

Profoundly disappointed by this hotel. In the photos and description, it presents itself as an excellent hotel, and I had high expectations. In front of the elevators on the first floor, there's a sign that says "IHG Clean Promise," but I must say that I did not find this promise of cleanliness in the room they assigned me. The floors were dirty, neither cleaned nor washed, with stains, hair, and dirt everywhere. The sink was dirty with toothpaste and hair, and there were dead flies on the window sill, which I noticed the next morning when I opened the curtain to light the room. Even the phone near the bed was dirty. Not to mention the chaos that occurred the evening we arrived. Kids running through the hallways, shouting, and others playing tennis in the parking lot, which is unsafe both for guests arriving at the hotel and for the kids playing in the parking lot in front of the entrance. The experience was truly disappointing. Luckily, I stayed only one night, and I don't think there will be a second chance. I recommend checking the cleanliness of the rooms before assigning them to guests for the sake of future guests if you still want guests. I am attaching some photos to demonstrate the critical situation I found.

I was here for 3 days (Labor day weekend)The rooms were nice, the front office people were great and everyone was friendly and helpful at the front office. The breakfast food was ok there are a lot of restaurants nearby I will say there is an old smell in the halls I would suggest maybe some type of plug in or air freshener but that's not a big deal. I will definitely be back again. The two housekeepers are nice as well the man housekeeper seems to have a little attitude but he might have been having a bad day either way it's a great Hotel and I'll be back.

Always have a good experience at Holiday Inn Express. And their window shades are amazing at keeping the light out of the room. All hotels should have these shades.

We booked a standard room with 2 queen beds. Our room had double beds. The floor felt slightly damp, which I guess explains the smell. The room stunk. The air conditioner was very loud and inefficient. The room was so poorly insulated that we were awaken all night by doors closing and people talking at a normal volume in the hallway. The room was dusty and had cobwebs. The trim was partially pulled off the wall on one side of the room. The breakfast was decent.

I pulled into Super 8 om August 7th 2024 around 10:00pm after driving 700 miles from a visit in Midwest, heading for Florida. I was worn out after the drive and the mountains. I went into the office to check into a Room. Desk clerk ( a young woman) registered me and gave me a Key. The key would not open my door. I had to leave my bags( 3-4) at my door unattended. Upon entering the office The Clerk Did NOT even attempt to make another key. She stated that she would let me into my room. She left the office wide open and un attended. She tried my key NOT WORKING. She opened my door and when I commented that I intended to drive to get some food, gas etc. What am I supposed to do? I'll be in the office all night just come and I'll let you In. Not acceptable I stated as she walked away. She asks What do you want me to do Move you upstairs?? WTH I said that is total BULL. She walked away. I went into my room Pretty unsatisfied and amazed. I couldn't leave the property without her Having to let me In . Not happening I showered sat for a while to quit shaking from the whole encounter. I left a few hours later.. I called the Motel upon arrival in Florida. I explained what My Unsatisfactory Experience was Like. After multiple conversations over 3 plus weeks I was assured that there would be a refund and consequences for this experience. I stated that I would wait for refund, not write a bad review for a period of time. Time ran out way before I contacted Credit Card company, waited to write this review. A response after waiting would have prevented this Truthful, precise , and Blunt Review. I am know Only for Glowing reviews 99.9% of the time Now ,it is weeks after I added this Honest , informative, painful story. I still have not received my refund that the Manager told the Desk to tell me She Had Authorized. I waited and contacted the "Hotel " Again still giving them a chance to make good on Assurances that a Refund would be showing up. No Communication from Manager or supervisor. I did finally dispute the change with my credit card company. I decided to go with another Attempt then contacted Wyndham Customer Care Corp. Within an hour or two Magically I found Someone at Super 8 Wyndham Ringgold/ Chattanooga put through the Room Charge Again . Like adding Insult to Injury. Absolutely Retaliation. 💯 % Absolutely an Unpleasant experience, Unprofessional and possibly an illegal Punishable Action. I immediately updated Wyndham Customer Care.

First room had hair and stains all over the sheets. Fire alarm kept beeping, phone was plugged in but did not work, and refrigerator wasn't working. On the second day of staying here, our door was opened without hardly any notice. The person knocked once and immediately open our door while we were in the room while we had the "do not disturb " sign hung on the doorknob.

Love this place. Close to everything. Comfortable beds, awesome water pressure, very professional staff!!! All that at a reasonable price!! The pool was closed, but I'm from the mountains and the coolest it was there was 97, so I didn't want to go swimming anyways. I appreciated also that restaurants were within walking distance too!!!

I had an extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this hotel during my stay on January 2. After a long day of traveling with my family, we checked into Room 301 late at night, expecting a comfortable stay. However, shortly after arriving, we discovered live bed bugs crawling on one of the pillows and more near the bed. This was horrifying, especially for my children, who were exhausted and began crying out of fear and distress. We immediately decided to leave the hotel rather than risk further exposure. While the front desk associate, Heather Baker, was kind and apologetic, the follow-up from the General Manager, Carmen Henley, was shockingly dismissive. Despite providing photos and describing the incident in detail, I was told there was "no physical evidence" of bed bugs after their inspection (despite leaving the actual bed bug at the front desk with Heather and providing multiple photos). This response felt like an attempt to deny our experience rather than resolve the issue. As compensation, I was offered only 2,500 Marriott Bonvoy points, which doesn’t even cover a single night’s stay at most Marriott properties. When I expressed that this was inadequate, I was met with a curt response that no further compensation would be provided. Bed bugs are a serious issue, and this experience caused significant disruption to our trip. If we had unpacked or stayed longer, the costs of professionally cleaning our belongings could have been hundreds of dollars. The dismissive attitude from Carmen Henley, combined with the minimal compensation offered, has left me deeply disappointed in Marriott’s handling of this matter. I strongly urge future guests to avoid this property unless they address these issues and take guest concerns more seriously. This experience has shaken my trust in Marriott, a brand I’ve previously relied on for quality and service.

Spring hills by Marriott- This hotel is newly renovated and had nice spacious and clean rooms. On first day had many options for breakfast and everything was great quality. Next day they were out of some of the items like chocolate milk, cream cheese. In addition they had very bad sewage smell in the whole lobby and in the room whole night that day which made it not a pleasant experience. They moved us to new room but we shouldn’t be paying $140 per night for that night specially. They must offer some discounts for the inconvenience.

The Hotel was great. Nice Clean Room, Excellent Breakfast, Friendly Front Desk. The only negative is that when I reserved the rooms I called the number on the Website and was unknowingly hooked up with a third party, and when I needed to cancel a fourth day was penalized with having to pay for all 4 days. I definitely prefer to deal directly with the Hotel, and not a third party booking service.

Travel to Ringgold every year. Hotel location is great for where we visit family. Staff was fantastic and very helpful. The rooms for the age of the hotel were lacking tho. Lots of wear. Stains on hard surfaces. Mold in shower. Visible screws on door holding it together. Issues with getting door open and had management have to reprogram locking mech. I'm aware people don't treat property as they should anymore. Hotel is doing the best they can and we understand. We appreciated them and their staff and would stay again.

The room was quite nice! It was also very clean!! The only concern I have is that their website was not working correctly, I had to try 3 times to get any confirmation number, and then when I arrived, they told me I had 3 rooms reserved. She offered to call them the next day (because it was a Sunday) to make sure the other 2 got canceled and not charged....I certainly hope that she keeps her word. As long as that happens as promised, it's a great place to stay!

Nice, clean, quiet. Friendly desk clerk. Packaged muffins, cakes, coffee, juice for grab & go breakfast. Will definitely overnight there again. Only thing... We were trailering a motorcycle and the parking lot does not circle the building so not a lot of room to maneuver a trailer but clerk okayed to take a couple extra spaces.

I was hitchhiking thru the area with my dogs and wagon when I heard about the impending hurricane. I tried renting a room here but was told "you have too much stuff, we're not a flop house or a homeless shelter." I pointed out that people with cats have far more than I do and there was a hurricane on the way and the woman said "I don't care. " Cruel, heartless, and downright evil! Do not spend your money here.

I'm a mom and was traveling with my teenage daughter on a little spontaneous spring break trip. Upon investigating hotels in Chattanooga and the surrounding areas I finally stumbled upon this location and the reviews all mentioned being recently remodeled and above all else I didn't see anyone complaining about safety and/or BUGS! We decided to give this hotel a chance and let me say it didn't disappoint. I didn't see not ONE bug the entire stay! The rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were actually really comfortable and nice! The beds even had bed bug protectors! It's not luxurious by any means but if you're looking for something affordable and clean, this location will be just fine! Was never concerned about safety at all either! It's about a 15-20 minute drive from Chattanooga and theres some decent antique stores close by! Most restaurants are about 5-7 minutes away as well and there is def a little gas station very nearby! (You technically could walk there but driving would be best I'd imagine.)

Nice n clean rooms ,, the shower area is newly remodeled and looks fantastic... unfortunately when we stopped by for rates they were higher then what we seen on line ,, so we booked on line while in their lobby... I would think by 9 pm they should offer at least the same rates as advertised on line,,, a full room is better then an unpaid empty room !! The check in agent was very nice and funny,, we enjoyed seeing the " friends" he referred too !!

Very friendly staff. The manager and lobby attendant were really nice and made me feel very welcome. The lobby had a nice recent renovation. It was clean and stylish. They also had a nice breakfast bar which i was not expecting. It was clean and organized, and there was plenty of space to dine. They expanded the lobby into a room next door and added a fitness room. I used it and had a nice little workout, even though i was not expecting to have that. People complain that there is a cemetery next door. I do not understand the problem. it's across the parking lot, but why would that be at all a problem? They are the quietest neighbors. Location is great, right off the highway, but not right next to the road so you do not have too much noise from brakes and cars and stuff. A couple hundred meters back from the main drag is nice. Gas stations and convenience stores and fast food right there. The room i stayed in was spotless. Very clean and well stocked. I have two little kids and we all felt great and clean and safe there. I would definitely stay again.

Worse Quality Inn I've ever been to. The room was dirty (wrappers on the floor, no toilet paper, coffee spills on the bathroom sink). Coffee pot still had grounds from previous guests. Breakfast was microwave foods. Bed was clean and comfortable.
