Great place to hike if you want more than the nature trail downtown Ringgold. I was pleased with the trails and the hike! They also have restrooms so that's a bonus. I'll be going back and checking it out more. But 👍🏻👍🏻

We were so surprised to find such a beautiful park by accident. Had a beautiful 2+ mile walk with lots of birds and wildflowers. The beginning and end of the main trail are a little steep and are rocky, so a good pair of shoes are important. But it is well worth it for the exercise and the beauty. The river was also beautiful.

Very kid-friendly with many trail option ranging in difficulty. There were easier trails which are great for families with small children and more difficult, inclined trails perfect for older kids or young adults. We brought 2 dogs with us.we took a break halfway through the trail to cool off in the river that runs along the trails. Has a fun public playground my neice loved playing on. Very pleasant picnic area.

This a beautiful park for hiking but also for holding an event. There is a large screened in pavilion and Bridal suite available to get ready in. There are alot of options for a small event. The rates are very affordable too.

The nature trail along the creek in Ringgold is wonderful. It's fully paved now, has two fenced-in dog play areas, offers kayak and tube rentals for enjoying the creek, provides benches, picnic tables, trash bins and doggy poo collection bags...in short, is a complete dream. Many new trees have been planted and the old ones have been labeled. Most of the walking trail is in the shade, which my dog and I both love, and I marvel during every visit at how clean and well-maintained the city has kept the entire premises. As a longtime resident of Ringgold, I am very proud of this nature trail and lovely creek.

This is one of the best places I've ever fished. If you like catching a variety of fish species but don't like moving your gear over and over again, come on down to the creek and find yourself a nice shade tree to sit under. Cast a line and the fish come to you.

Meh! It's a shallow creek. I saw a turtle and a lonely duck. Some people get in the water. I don't trust it. There's a water treatment facility about a mile down the path. The walking path is nice! Bring repellent with deet! You'll thank me.

The trees and bushes block the view of the creek on the trail. There are mini waterfalls. If you park at the nature trail area, there is where you can take your canoe, kayaking, etc into the water

Awesome walking trail. Paved, shaded, long. Didn't see any restrooms. Limited shaded parking but plenty of unshaded spots available.

Nice paved trail along the creek. I live the boardwalk the best. This trail is very dogfriendly and I am not sure how long the trail is, but we walked almost a mile before turning around and back tracked. There are signs warning of wildlife and reptiles. Fortunately, I didn't see any reptiles.

This is a pleasant place for an easy walk. The path is wide, clear, and wheelchair accessible! It wasn't crowded. I recommend mosquito repellent with deet or you will spend the whole time slapping yourself like an idiot! There's a little color to look at. The water is shallow. Some people brave getting in. I don't trust the water treatment facility down the path. Don't miss the tree knot that looks like a starwars rancor!

Paved trail along the creek . There was a nice wooden bridge too . I didn’t like it so much because there is the sound of highway . I recommend if you want go there use mosquito repellents.

Super convenient and well maintained. Right beside South Chickamauga Creek, so you get the soothing water sounds for added peace! I wish people were more courteous and picked up after their dogs. I mean right beside the trail as well! The littering folks need to wake up ! Fishing line is also litter!

Very nice 9 holes disc golf course for beginners. The pads have the hole number on them but more then often its been washed away so having an app with the holes is convenient. Its not that hard to figure out beside 2 or 3 holes. It is mostly in the very open field so just a few holes with a few trees but nothing major. The park is very clean and the parking lot is a very decent size. Dogs are allowed

Kids love this park! Playground is fun and has plenty to do. Covered pavilion is large with many tables. Bathrooms are clean and parking is easy (except during ball games - hahaha!).

JM is a great park for softball. Plenty of room to tent and above average restroom in numbers and cleanliness. It's dog friendly and park staff is constantly keeping things tidy. Area is safe with plenty of parking.

This park is a great venue for tournaments. Lots of room, multiple concession stands, and a nice playground inside the fences for the kids to enjoy between games. Lots of restrooms. They could use some kind of flow management, though. There was a lot of confusion about lines and several times throughout the day I saw people just walk up and cut line into a stall that someone was walking out of. Unfortunately, the organizers for the tournament we attended didn't do a very good job. I wish our experience had been better. But the facilities were great.

The restrooms are the most dated I've ever been to. They're single stall with very little ventilation. Good thing was one young man who was a staffer worked really hard to keep the soap, tissue and stuff up and going. The fields were fine, concessions didn't accept digital payment, but the food trucks on-site did.

Nice place to enjoy the afternoon. The church was closed but we were able to walk around it. Bring a picnic. There is a Pavillion, soda machine and bathroom at the playground next door. Walk up the hill to an old graveyard behind the church. Great place to walk the dog. Perfect place to take the kids.

It took me years to finally be at the right spot at the right time. During my tour of the Atlanta Campaign I finally was able to stop by and go in to see the inside of the Old Stone Church. I remember speaking to a lady who had volunteered there for a number of years. I enjoyed talking to her and learning a little about the local area and its history.

Nice little plac to see and read , but not much of a place to get out of traffic. The monument is right on the edge of the road . Good reading but have to do it in a hurry. See it before the woke forces tear it down.

Not much to see. Just a historical marker. This the place where the General ran out of fuel, ending the Great Locomotive Chase on April 12, 1862. Was worth the drive.

Very well kept playground with nice equipment. My daughter loves the swings :) There are public restrooms available as well as several picnic tables with awnings and grills.

Very clean and a nice place to get off for a clean restroom stop. We decided to use their picnic table for a lunch. They were covered and a very clean area with trash cans near by. They also have dog walking trails near by. This was one of the nicest, cleanest and a very well laid out rest stop

Super clean! Restrooms were spotless. Vending machines for snacks and drinks. A penny pressing machine that stamps "Georgia" onto your penny. Maps and magazines for vacationing & interesting places to see in Georgia. Also a FREE box to take a book/leave a book (paperback & hard covers). A nice dog area. Outside benches to relax.

Stopped on our way to a concert and everything here was nice. They have a beautiful walking track to spread your legs on long trips, bathrooms were nice and clean. Vending machines offering snacks drinks and even breakfast sandwiches and a microwave to heat them! Staff there was friendly as well!
